According to The Associated Press, Washington marijuana bud trimmers make an initial salary of $12 to $15 an hour. More experienced, hardworking and successful trimmers can go on to become gardeners or concentrate makers and make as much as $90,000/year.

As the marijuana industry continues to take off in Washington and Colorado, soon to rapidly grow in Alaska and Oregon, the infant industry will create more economic opportunity and social mobility for those at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder. The cannabis industry will give them a chance to succeed, climb up and reach the American Dream, something that many have said is now a thing of the past.

I for one beg to differ. I think the future will be very green.
