According to a new PPP poll, a record-high 57% of Rhode Island voters support changing the state law to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana. While only 35% opposed any changes to current RI law.

This comes at a critical time when the Rhode Island legislature considers passing the Marijuana Regulation, Control, and Taxation Act, a bill that would allow adults 21 and older to possess of up to one ounce of marijuana and grow one mature marijuana plant in an enclosed, locked space.
